Join us for our Sundowner Garden Lates - a vibrant picnic experience on the estate
Bring your friends, find your spot and get lost in the laid back summer feeling by listening to summer beats whilst watching the sun set over the gardens from our new BBC area. Watch the cocktail van pitch up and our mixologist stirring things up with cocktails that sing of summer spoils.
Enjoy summer salads plucked fresh from the veg plot and our speciality BBQ picnic feast prepared by our talented estate chefs, all served whilst sipping something delicious and listening to a live DJ.

All guests receive a welcome cocktail on arrival and a hamper including one bottle of Signature Blend Cyder per person.
Additional drinks can be pre-ordered when booking or purchased on the night from our cocktail van.

On the pitch
• Apple waste sourdough, salted butter
• Water buffalo mozzarella, garden herb dressing
• Chive hang op, cherry bell radishes
• Pablo Red Beetroot hummus, toasted seeds
From the BBQ: (1 available on rotation)
• Medium rare British White Sirloin, charred Tropea onion, tarragon butter sauce.
• Charred estate lamb leg, spiced aubergine, seed head dukka, coriander
• Story pig pork chop, fermented summer cabbage and apple kraut, black garlic mayonnaise.
Vegetarian option – (1 available on rotation)
• Chargrilled courgette, water buffalo feta, basil, fennel, pine nuts
• Chargrilled pinstripe aubergine, water buffalo halloumi, tomato, oregano
Salads:
• Glasshouse tomato’s, dill, capers
• Summer beans, nasturtium dressing (mayonnaise and verde)
• Crushed young potato’s, parsley and olives
• Estate leaves, black onion seed and tarragon dressing
Dessert
• “Summer berries Pavlova” estate elderflower curd, whipped cream
• Selection of Somerset cheese, crackers, seeded rye, cyder fruit chutney, red onion pickles.

Please Note
Newt Membership is not required to attend Garden Lates. Our formal gardens are open for exploration and guests are welcome to enter the gardens from 6.30pm. The gardens will close at 9.30pm (or when dark).
Some of our pitches are on the ground (laid picnic blankets), whilst others are seated on our garden chairs – please indicate your preference when booking.
During inclement weather Garden Lates will be held in the Garden Café.
